Dr. Robert Tang Bau, DNP, PMHNP-BC
CEO & Founder

I am Dr. Robert Tang Bau, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care. With over eight years of experience in healthcare and nursing, my journey has been shaped by my service as a U.S. Air Force Veteran and my continued role as an active Reservist. These experiences have instilled resilience, discipline, and a deep sense of responsibility toward those I serve.

I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of South Alabama, where I received advanced training in evidence-based psychiatric care, with a strong clinical focus on ADHD. Mental health is not just my profession—it is my passion and calling. I strive to connect with each patient personally, understand their unique challenges, and provide compassionate support throughout their healing journey.

My practice provides comprehensive and individualized care for clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where individuals feel empowered to share their stories and take an active role in treatment.

My treatment approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect. I focus on person-centered care, recognizing that each client is the expert in their own life. I work alongside clients to identify goals, strengthen coping strategies, and develop a tailored plan that supports lasting mental, emotional, and psychosocial well-being.

I specialize in the evaluation and management of a wide range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, personality disorders, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, and more. By staying current with clinical guidelines and best practices, I aim to ensure every client receives effective, individualized care.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar, fishing, hunting, kayaking, going to the beach with my family, and traveling abroad. I also enjoy serving alongside my family at community churches.
